Zusammenfassung

OnSite Central Limited is seeking motivated Water Meter Technicians to install, replace, inspect and maintain water meters in domestic properties within the South Staffs Water network. The role requires practical plumbing knowledge and a valid UK driving license, with travel across a designated area.

You will perform meter installations, inspect metering systems, record work via handheld devices, and ensure safety and quality standards while delivering excellent customer service to households.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification, or substantial plumbing experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Ability to work in domestic properties, indoors and externally.
• Commitment to safe working practices and quality service.
• Experience in metering or water utilities is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Installing and exchanging water meters in domestic properties.
• Inspecting existing metering installations and identifying defects or maintenance requirements.
• Carrying out basic plumbing alterations associated with meter installations.
• Recording work using handheld technology and company systems.
• Ensuring all tasks comply with health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Liaising with customers and addressing queries.
• Reporting issues affecting service delivery, quality or safety.
• Maintaining company vehicles, tools and equipment.
• Managing workload to meet productivity targets.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and suggesting improvements.
• Representing OnSite and South Staffs Water professionally.
