Job summary

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a passionate Residential Team Leader for Hillside Lodge, a 60-bed care home in Pulborough, West Sussex. You will lead shift teams, ensure person-centred care, and support residents’ physical and emotional needs in a modern facility.

You should have NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and experience with older people. Shaw Healthcare is employee-owned and offers development opportunities and staff benefits.

Hillside Lodge offers a range of services to support residents' physical, emotional, and social needs, including 24-hour nursing care.,

• We are committed to ensuring that all employees have a say in shaping our workplace by appointing dedicated employee representatives and conducting annual employee surveys., As a Residential Team Leader, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of person-centred care and supporting your team to uphold those standards in everything they do. This will include, but not limited to:
• Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice
• Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures
• Report changes in residents needs or well-being promptly to the Line Manager
  Experience working with older people in residential care
• You will have completed your NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social care (or equivalent)
• You will need to be flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people
• Ability to lead a team and use own initiative
