Job summary

New Elmcroft in Shoreham-by-Sea is seeking a Residential Team Leader to support a 60-bed care home offering nursing, dementia, residential and respite care. The role is 24 hours per week with flexible 12-hour shifts, days or nights, including weekends, near Brighton and Worthing.

You will lead by example, ensure person-centred care and uphold high standards while supporting staff through training and documentation. NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent is required.

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social care (or equivalent).
• Flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people.
• Ability to lead a team and use own initiative.

Residential Team Leader at New Elmcroft

Hours: 24 hours per week - either days or nights available

Shift Times: Flexible on 4 week Rota working 12hr shifts (either days 07:45-20:15 or nights 20:00-08:00) - includes alternative weekends

Job Responsibilities

As a Residential Team Leader, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of person-centred care and supporting your team to uphold those standards in everything they do. This will include, but not limited to:

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience working with older people in residential care

You will have completed your NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social care (or equivalent)

You will need to be flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people

Ability to lead a team and use own initiative
