Job summary

The Witherslack Group is seeking a Residential Support Worker to help young people in our Children’s Homes. You will assist with daily routines, school prep, and engaging activities, while upholding safeguarding and inclusive practice.

No prior experience is required, and a full UK driving licence is essential. A 4-week Care Academy induction supports your onboarding and progression opportunitieswithin a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) preferred or supported by employer.

Responsibilities

• Help young people get ready for school and assist with homework.
• Complete paperwork and plan fun activities.
• Make evenings and weekends enjoyable with games, movie days or outings (e.g., go-karting).
