Job summary

SCR is seeking passionate Childrens Support Workers to cover a flexible full-time basis in Stafford. You will work within a team to deliver a high standard of care and support the Young Persons' emotional wellbeing.

You recognise that the role is to help support service users maximise their choices, rights and decisions. The successful applicant will undergo enhanced disclosure checks and DBS verification as part of safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Level 3 in Health & Social Care/Children & Young People is great but not essential.
• 6 months minimum experience working in a similar setting.
• Empathetic, non-judgemental and calm demeanor.
• Dedicated and committed with a “can-do” attitude.

• Flexible working hours on a rota basis including sleep-ins if needed.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo an enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau.
