TeacherActive Limited. is recruiting a Waking Night Residential Support Worker for a specialist SEND school and residential setting in the DE4 area.

You will support children and young people with a range of needs, keeping them safe and comfortable during the night, while following care plans and maintaining professional standards. The role requires experience with SEND, resilience for night shifts, and strong communication to work with the residential and education teams.

Responsibilities

• Providing waking-night support within the residential setting.

Waking Night Residential Support Worker – SEND School

Location: DE4, Derbyshire

Pay: £14.25 per hour

TeacherActive is recruiting experienced Waking Night Residential Support Workers to work within a specialist SEND school and residential setting in the DE4 area.

You will support children and young people with a range of special educational needs and disabilities, helping to provide a safe, calm and supportive environment throughout the night.

This is a hands-on role where you'll need to be attentive, compassionate and confident responding to the individual needs of the young people in your care.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing waking-night support within the residential setting
• Ensuring young people remain safe and comfortable throughout the night
• Supporting individual SEND and additional care needs
• Responding calmly to challenging situations or changes in behaviour
• Following individual care and support plans
• Completing appropriate observations and records

The Successful Residential Support Worker Will Have
