TeacherActive is recruiting compassionate Residential Support Workers to join our teams across Derby & Nottingham, with placements in Derbyshire, Ilkeston.

You will support young people with daily routines, promote emotional wellbeing, and help build independence in a safe, nurturing home environment. Flexible shifts include waking nights; long-term opportunities are available.

These homes are dedicated to promoting stability, independence and emotional wellbeing through high-quality care and support. (Driver or own Travel is essential as Public trasnport routes are lacking)

We are looking for compassionate and resilient Residential Support Workers to join our team on a day-to-day basis, with opportunities for long-term placements for the right candidates.

What You'll Be Doing as a Residential Support Worker:

• Supporting young people with their daily routines and activities
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Building trusting and supportive relationships with young people
• Helping to create a safe, structured and nurturing home environment

• Working flexible shifts, including waking nights

Have experience working with children or young people in a residential, care or support setting

• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Can build positive and professional relationships with young people
• Remain calm and resilient when managing challenging situations
• Are flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including waking nights
• Have a proactive, caring and professional approach to your work
