Job summary

St Monica Trust is seeking an experienced manager to lead the concierge, porter and housekeeping services across our villages. You will ensure safety, maintain high standards of cleanliness and support residents with domestic needs, while coordinating with the Village Manager and Residential Services Team Leaders.

The role requires prior management experience, health & safety qualifications (or active progression), and a focus on customer service for older residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar management role.
• IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent health & safety qualification or working towards.
• Level 3 First Aid at Work qualification or working towards.
• Infection Prevention & Control qualification or working towards.
• Knowledge of porter & housekeeping functions.
• Experience creating/reviewing risk assessments.
• Experience and knowledge of customer service/hospitality.
• Budget management in relation to stock and supplies.
• Understanding of general cleanliness and hygiene.
• Understanding the needs of older people.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and other IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver concierge, porter and housekeeping services meeting safety, security and domestic needs of residents.
• Improve resident experience by responding to feedback and modelling the Trust's vision for excellent customer service.
• Oversee concierge and housekeeping operations including waste management, cleaning, minibus service, stock, CCTV/security and emergency response.
• Line manage Porter/Concierge and Housekeeping teams in line with SMT policies.
• Deputise for Village Management alongside collaboration with Residential Services Team Leaders.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety; review risk assessments and COSHH sheets.
