Watford Mencap is seeking a motivated Deputy Manager for our Residential Services. The role is 37.5 hours per week across 5 days, with on-call responsibility, based in a small home for seven residents, and part of a wider service team.

You will lead and develop the team to deliver a high-quality, person-centred service within CQC guidelines, and work with the project manager to ensure safe staffing and effective supervision, induction and ongoing training.

Formación

• Experience leading shifts in residential care or similar settings.
• Willing to achieve Level 4 Leadership and Management within 18 months of appointment.
• Based in or willing to work from Watford residential services.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, support and develop the team to deliver a high-quality person-centred service within CQC frameworks.
• Contribute to service development and enrichment of residents’ lives.
• Manage rotas, recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisals and training for staff.
• Provide on-call support to the wider organisation and cover shifts as needed.
