Voyage Care in Longhope (Forest of Dean) is seeking a Deputy Service Manager to lead a residential service. You will manage a team, develop and implement person-centred support plans, and ensure quality of care across assessments, recruitment, and supervision.

The role includes medication competency audits, multi-disciplinary meetings, reporting, and covering the Registered Manager in their absence. A Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willingness to progress is required, with experience with

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience in care management with individuals; autism, complex mental health needs, trauma and challenging behaviours.

Responsabilités

• Lead a residential care team and supervise staff performance.
• Develop and implement person-centred support plans and conduct needs assessments.
• Recruitment, induction, and supervisions for colleagues; medication competencies and audits.
• Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and prepare reports.
• Assist the Registered Manager in day-to-day service operations and cover when needed.
• Participate in on-call rota, predominantly weekends.
