FirstPort, the UK’s leading residential property service provider, is seeking a Service Charge Accountant. You will deliver year-end accounts to residents and manage accounting processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

You will work closely with the Service Charge Accounting Team Leader, audits, and other stakeholders to maintain high service standards. This role offers growth within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA or CIMA).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accounting environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate financial reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver year end accounts to residents in a timely fashion.
• Carry out necessary transactions to ensure a smooth accounting process for accounts.
• Resolve issues on accounts and ensure a quality service to customers/clients.
• Deliver to department productivity metrics and contribute to team and organisational goals.
• Liaise effectively with auditors to deliver a smooth audit process and best outcomes.
• Adopt a proactive approach to audit and accounts, liaising with analysts/managers on concerns.
• Take full responsibility for your own development and contribute to the team with ideas and feedback.
• Internally this role will be titled Scheme Accountant.
