Job summary

FirstPort is seeking a Service Charge Accountant to manage service charge accounts for residential and commercial properties in the UK. The role focuses on budgeting, reconciliation and reporting to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; accounting software knowledge is a plus.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• A relevant accounting qualification (e.g. AAT) is a plus but not required.

Role: Service Charge Accountant

Location: New Milton

Salary: Competitive Salary plus benefits

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm (35 hours per week)

Your Role, Your Impact

As a Service Charge Accountant, you will help manage service charge accounts for residential and commercial properties. This involves supporting the senior team with budgeting, reconciliation, and reporting to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with regulations.
