Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Customer Solutions Technician to install and commission security products at residential premises for the ADT brand.

Full paid training, a company van, uniform and tools are provided, with a basic salary and competitive incentive scheme. The role focuses on installing intruder alarms, CCTV and doorbell systems, delivering a high standard of customer service and developing product knowledge through the development program.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driver’s license is required.
• Ability to carry and climb ladders and work at height.
• Practical skills with hand and power tools.
• Ability to work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries and damage.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work solo or in a team.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Familiar with using smartphones, tablets and PCs.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission security systems (intruder alarms, CCTV, doorbell, access control).
• Deliver high-quality customer service and identify sales opportunities.
• Be reliable, trustworthy and able to work alone or in a team.
• Represent Johnson Controls positively to customers.
• Maintain accurate records, mileage, expenses, and timesheets.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by line manager.
