Qualifications

• Experience in conveyancing or residential property environment; minimum 6 months.
• Understanding of the stages involved in residential property transactions.
• Organised with ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
• Clear, professional communicator with a client-focused approach.
• Careful and methodical with strong attention to detail.
• Familiar with case management systems and standard office technology.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to learn and support colleagues.

Responsabilités

• Management and progression of residential sales and purchases
• Support fee earners with complex transactions involving freehold and leasehold properties
• Request and review searches, title documents and other information required for a transaction
• Help raise and respond to pre-contract enquiries, and follow up on outstanding replies
• Prepare and issue routine correspondence and legal documents for review
• Assist with preparing reports, completion statements and other client updates
• Help coordinate exchange and completion arrangements with clients, estate agents, brokers and other firms
• Keep clients updated and respond to routine queries in a clear and professional manner
• Maintain accurate case management notes and file records
• Support the team in meeting anti-money laundering, source-of-funds and other risk and compliance requirements
• Help ensure completed files are handed over promptly to the post-completion team
