Qualifications

• Experience in conveyancing or residential property environment (min 6 months).
• Understanding of stages in residential property transactions.
• Organised with ability to manage tasks, deadlines and priorities.
• Clear, professional communicator focused on clients.
• Careful, methodical with good attention to detail.
• Comfortable using case management systems and standard office tech.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to learn and support colleagues.
• Experience supporting a conveyancer with a residential caseload or managing one.
• Knowledge of freehold and leasehold transactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and progress residential sales and purchases.
• Support fee earners with complex transactions involving freehold and leasehold properties.
• Request and review searches, title documents and other information required for a transaction.
• Help raise and respond to pre-contract enquiries, and follow up on outstanding replies.
• Prepare and issue routine correspondence and legal documents for review.
• Assist with preparing reports, completion statements and client updates.
• Coordinate exchange and completion arrangements with clients, agents, brokers and firms.
• Keep clients updated and respond to routine queries clearly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate case management notes and file records.
• Support the team in meeting AML, source-of-funds and other risk/compliance requirements.
• Help ensure completed files are handed over to post-completion team.
