Job summary

Kitson Associates is seeking a Project Director in the East Midlands with hybrid working options. You will own infrastructure across a large residential/mixed-use development, coordinating planning obligations and utilities strategy, reporting to the Technical Director.

You will lead delivery across highways, drainage, utilities, schedules, budgets and risk management, acting as the primary point of contact for authorities and contractors to ensure on-time progress.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering large-scale residential or mixed-use developments.
• Strong knowledge of planning conditions, S106 agreements, infrastructure delivery, utilities and phasing.
• Experience working with local authorities and statutory undertakers.
• Strong programme and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of all strategic and phase-specific infrastructure: highways, drainage, earthworks, utilities and enabling works.
• Own the utilities strategy, managing ICPs, IDNOs, telecoms and securing network capacity and reinforcements.
• Maintain a live schedule of planning conditions and drive discharge submissions with consultants and the LPA.
• Manage highways and drainage adoptions.
• Be the main contact for the Local Planning Authority, Highway Authority, Environment Agency, utility providers, landowners and contractors.
• Run infrastructure programmes, risk registers and budgets, and spot value engineering opportunities.
