The University System of New Hampshire is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector to conduct routine inspections of residential halls, ensuring cleanliness, condition, and readiness for university activities. Under supervision, you will supervise student staff, document findings, and coordinate with Housing and Residential Life to maintain safety and compliance.

You will ensure standards, provide feedback on cleaning quality, and help address deficiencies.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or GED equivalent with two years custodial/housekeeping experience.
• Previous experience performing quality inspections, leading housekeeping activities, or providing work direction.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to effectively communicate work expectations, housekeeping standards, safety procedures, and performance feedback with employees in both languages.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine inspections of residence halls to assess cleanliness and overall condition.
• Document findings and ensure standards are met.
• Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Follow up to verify deficiencies are addressed.
• Supervise student staff and schedule work as assigned.
• Provide feedback on cleaning quality, productivity, and procedures.
• Attend Department/Housing meetings as directed.
• Inspect facilities before conferences and events to ensure readiness.
• Maintain inspection records and reports.
• Promote safety and compliance with ADA/OSHA requirements.
