University of Southampton is recruiting a permanent full-time General Assistant for the Residences department within the Facilities team. You will support the Halls of Residence, primarily at Wessex Lane Hub, ensuring smooth operation and high standards of student service across multiple sites.

Role involves moving furniture, safety inspections, handling post and parcels, responding to lockouts and fire alarms.

Responsabilidades

• The movement of furniture/equipment across the sites, storage and monitoring of stock
• Carrying out routine and scheduled safety inspections including Room Inspections and legionella flushing
• Assisting with post/parcel duties, and responding to lock outs
• Responding to fire alarms across site and report and elevate as appropriate
