Sellick Partnership is partnering with an established employee-owned legal practice in Leicester to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancer. The role involves handling a varied residential property caseload, including new builds and leasehold matters, with a strong focus on client care.

The position offers a salary of £48,000-£55,000 per annum on a permanent contract, with hybrid working options and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.
• Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Dealing with new build transactions.
• Managing more complex residential property matters.
• Advising clients throughout the conveyancing process.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other relevant parties.
• Managing transactions effectively and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Providing clear, practical and professional advice to clients.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Working positively as part of an established residential property team.

Overview of the Residential Conveyancer role

We are currently working with an established and growing employee-owned legal practice in Leicester who are looking to appoint an experienced Residential Conveyancer.

This is an excellent opportunity for a conveyancer looking to join a well-established team and take on a varied residential property caseload. The successful candidate will have strong experience across all areas of residential conveyancing including new builds and leasehold, alongside a strong focus on client care.

Key responsibilities of the Residential Conveyancer will include

• Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
• Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Dealing with new build transactions
• Managing more complex residential property matters
• Advising clients throughout the conveyancing process
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other relevant parties
• Managing transactions effectively and ensuring deadlines are met
• Providing clear, practical and professional advice to clients
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Working positively as part of an established residential property team

Required experience/qualifications of the Residential Conveyancer position will include

• Relevant experience in residential conveyancing
• Strong experience dealing with new build and leasehold matters
• Experience handling more complex residential property transactions
• Ability to manage a caseload independently from instruction through to completion

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
