Job summary

Cherry Professional is recruiting a Residential Conveyancer for a busy Leicester-based property team. You will manage a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, delivering client-focused service and ensuring files progress efficiently and compliantly.

This permanent, full-time role requires the ability to work independently, prioritise deadlines, and maintain meticulous file notes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise deadlines, and manage multiple files simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Confident communicator with a high standard of client care.
• Comfortable using a case management system and working to process/quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage an end-to-end residential conveyancing caseload including (as relevant): freehold/leasehold sales & purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, new build, shared ownership
• Open files, issue initial documentation, and maintain strong client communication throughout
• Draft/review contract documentation, raise/respond to enquiries, and progress matters to exchange and completion
• Review title, searches, and supporting documentation; liaise with agents, lenders, clients, and third parties
• Handle exchange/completion administration and post-completion tasks (as applicable)
• Maintain accurate file notes and ensure work is completed in line with relevant compliance and quality standards
