Job summary

Home Group Limited in Redruth, Cornwall, is seeking a part-time Customer Safety & Support role to help keep our buildings safe and welcoming. You will patrol areas, monitor CCTV, assist customers, and respond to incidents to protect residents and staff.

The role includes training, a DBS check paid by us, health cash plan, pension contributions, and perks like instant pay access and discounts. Shift pattern includes weekends and a Wednesday night slot.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles preferred.
• Ability to monitor CCTV and respond calmly to incidents.
• Able to work with colleagues to manage anti-social behaviour.
• Strong communication skills and good judgment under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Walk around the building checking CCTV, fire doors and communal areas.
• Greeting customers and visitors, picking up repairs or cleaning.
• The first line of support for customers when the wider team isn’t available.
• Monitor and respond to incidents calmly, quickly and fairly.
• Work with colleagues and partners to manage anti-social behaviour.
