Job summary

AIM Recruitment UK Limited in Oswestry is seeking a Residential Children’s Worker to support young people in their day-to-day lives and help follow care plans within a nurturing, safe environment.

You will work with a dedicated team to deliver consistent care, adapt to changing circumstances, and meet statutory requirements while covering shifts on the home rota. A driving licence is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Experience in residential care is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and listening skills are essential.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a changing environment.
• Adaptability to challenging situations is important.

Responsibilities

• Support young people in day-to-day living.
• Provide a caring, nurturing environment free from harm.
• Follow individual care plans for the home's young people.
• Collaborate with a committed team and registered manager to achieve outcomes.
• Ensure company policies, procedures, and statutory requirements are followed.
• Be available to work shifts within the home’s rota.

Aim Recruitment is recruiting for a Residential Childrens worker for our client based in Oswestry

This is a great opportunity to get started in an exciting new role as a residential childrens worker supporting young people with their day-to-day lives, with the opportunity to learn and develop new skills.

Job Role

• Supporting young people to live their day-to-day lives.
• Provide a caring, supportive and nurturing environment in which children/young people can feel secure and free from harm.
• Working with the homes young people to ensure their care plans are followed.
• Working alongside a committed team and registered manager to bring the best possible outcomes for the homes young people.
• Ensuring the companys policies, procedures, and statutory requirements are followed.
• Availability to work shifts within the homes rota.

Requirements

• Full UK Driving licence.
• Previous experience desired but not essential.
• Good communication and listening skills
• The ability to work well under pressure
• To be able to adapt well to challenging and changing situations.
