Inicio Group Ltd is hiring a Residential Childcare Worker in Salford. The role involves supporting children daily, managing routines, and providing emotional support within a close-knit team. Sleep-ins and overtime are included, with a robust training pathway and progression opportunities.

Salary is based on a £13/hour rate plus £75 per sleep-in, with a £1,000 welcome bonus. A full UK driving licence and car access are essential. This is a full-time post with 34 hours per week.

Residential Childcare Worker
Location: Salford, M44

• Salary: £32,660.00 per annum (based on £13.00 per hour and £75 per sleep-in)
• £1,000 welcome bonus (£500 on successful completion of induction, £500 on successful completion of probation)
• Full time 34 hours with sleeps (average of 10 sleeps per month)
• 1 day on, 2 days off – average of 10 working days per month
• Paid overtime (£14.50/hr)
• Sleep-in required (£75 per night)

• You’ve worked in care, education, youth work, or similar roles
• Or, you’ve never worked in this field but have life experience, emotional resilience and a natural way with people
• You stay calm in tough moments and want to learn how to support children through trauma
• You’re comfortable working alone at times and following structured routines
• You hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car (essential)

Welcome bonus T&C's

Inicio Group reserves the right to reclaim the welcome bonus if the employee voluntarily leaves or is dismissed for misconduct within 12 months of their start date. Any reclaim will be calculated on a pro-rata basis at 1/12th of the total bonus for each full month not completed.
