Job summary

Inicio Group Ltd is recruiting a Support Worker for Leigh, focused on providing supported accommodation for young people leaving care. The role promotes independence, with a multiagency approach to wrap-around support and a person-centered ethos.

You will work a 34‑hour week with sleeps, and be a positive role model for the young people and staff alike. The package includes a £500 welcome bonus, a sleep‑in allowance, a comprehensive induction, pension and health plan, plus extensive holiday

Qualifications

• Level 3/4 in Health & Social Care (Desired)
• Minimum of 1 year’s relevant experience (Desired)
• Hold a valid Driving licence and access to own vehicle (Required)
• Minimum age requirement of 21 years (Required)
• DBS on Update Service (Desired)
• Willing & able to do Sleep In shifts (Required)

• Work with young people to promote independence and prepare for adulthood.
• Collaborate with multiagency teams to ensure wrap-around support.
• Be a positive role model and communicate clearly with young people and colleagues.

SUPPORT WORKER (SUPPORTED ACCOMMODATION)
Required for our service in Leigh

• £500 welcome bonus (£250 on successful completion of induction, £250 on successful completion of probation)
• Full-Time 34 hours with sleeps (Av 10 sleeps per month)
• £31,984 - £32,868 per annum (based on £13.00 - £13.50 per hour, dependent on qualifications)
• Sleep in allowance £75 per sleep
• 3 Week rolling rota including weekends and evenings across a 7 day period

As a Support Worker your role will be to work alongside young people, actively promoting independence and preparing them to transition into adulthood.

Working on a multiagency basis and in partnership with internal and external professionals to ensure young people are given the correct wrap around support and are treated equally, as individuals, and without discrimination.

Experience & Qualifications

Welcome bonus T&C's:

Inicio Group reserves the right to reclaim the welcome bonus if the employee voluntarily leaves or is dismissed for misconduct within 12 months of their start date. Any reclaim will be calculated on a pro-rata basis at 1/12th of the total bonus for each full month not completed.
