Job summary

Inicio Group in Stalybridge is seeking a caring, reliable adult to join a new home for children. You will be part of a close-knit team, helping children feel safe, supported and optimistic about their future.

No experience is required—full training and qualifications will be provided. You may drive, stay calm in tough moments, and follow structured routines. Sleep-ins and overtime are paid, with a welcome bonus and career progression support.

Job description

Location: Stalybridge, SK15
Pay: £13.00 per hour

£1,000 welcome bonus (£500 on successful completion of induction, £500 on successful completion of probation)
1 day on, 2 days off - average of 10 working days per month
Paid overtime (£14.50/hr)
Sleep-ins required (£75 per night)

What you'll do

What we're looking for

This could be right for you if:

• You've worked in care, education, youth work, or similar roles
• Or, you've never worked in this field but have life experience, emotional resilience and a natural way with people
• You stay calm in tough moments and want to learn how to support children through trauma
• You're comfortable working alone at times and following structured routines
• You hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car (essential)
