Randstad Care is recruiting a Children’s Residential Support Worker for our Crediton team. You will work with children and young people experiencing emotional and social difficulties, supporting education, life skills and daily routines within a nurturing residential setting.

The role requires empathy, resilience and a commitment to complete your NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare; a full UK driving licence is preferred to support local activities and group outings.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential childcare is desirable or a commitment to NVQ Level 3 Diploma.
• Calm, empathetic and structured approach to managing behaviours.
• Full UK driving licence preferred for local activities.

Responsabilités

• Build authentic trust with children using trauma-informed techniques.
• Support daily growth through education, life skills and daily routines.
• Maintain a safe environment and complete detailed daily logs.
