Wilderness Way in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Children's Residential Support Worker to provide stable, nurturing care and guidance for young people in residential settings.

You will build trusting relationships, support education and wellbeing, and work with a team to help children develop life skills and resilience. Training, progression opportunities, and a supportive environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals in care, education, youth work, or related settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with empathy and resilience.
• Willingness to work toward a Level 3 qualification if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, trusting relationships with children.
• Create a safe, structured and nurturing home environment.
• Support children with education, health and wellbeing.
• Encourage independence, confidence and resilience.
• Collaborate with Managers, Therapists and multi-disciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes.
