Search Consultancy is seeking caring and dedicated individuals for a Children's Residential role in Stalybridge. You will help create a safe, supportive environment for young people, building trust and consistent routines.

Full training is provided. The role emphasizes resilience, passion for supporting children, and comfortable collaboration within a close-knit team to promote wellbeing and education.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and emotional resilience required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a residential setting.
• Full UK driving licence with access to a car (essential).
• Experience in care or education is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with children based on trust and respect.
• Support daily routines including school runs, meals and activities.
• Provide reassurance and act as a reliable adult during challenging moments.
• Maintain accurate records of key events and progress.
• Promote education, wellbeing, independence and life skills.
• Create a warm, welcoming environment where children feel at home.
