Confidential is recruiting for a Residential Childcare Worker in Stalybridge. Join a children’s residential home to help create a safe, supportive environment for young people.

Prior experience isn’t essential; the right values and resilience are key, with full training and development provided. You will help with daily routines, school runs, meals and emotional support, building trustful relationships and ensuring consistent routines.

Qualifikationen

• Has experience in care, education, youth work or a similar setting is welcomed but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills and emotional resilience are important.
• Willingness to learn about supporting children who have experienced trauma.

• Build positive relationships with children based on trust and respect.
• Support daily routines including school runs, meals, activities and emotional support.
• Provide reassurance and act as a reliable adult during challenging moments.
• Maintain accurate records of key events and each child's progress.
• Promote education, wellbeing, independence and life skills.
• Help create a warm, welcoming environment where children feel at home.
