Inicio Group Ltd is seeking a Senior Residential Childcare Worker in Stalybridge to lead shifts, support children, and maintain a calm, safe home environment. The role combines direct care with team leadership and ongoing development opportunities.

You will oversee routines, relationships, and safeguarding while promoting education, wellbeing, and positive experiences for children and families in our care. A welcome bonus and career progression are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential childcare or similar setting.
• Full UK driving licence with car access (essential).
• Ability to lead a shift and support colleagues.
• Emotionally resilient and able to act calmly in crises.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with children based on trust and consistency.
• Support daily routines: school runs, meals, activities, and emotional support.
• Lead shifts, model best practice, and support teammates on shift.
• Oversee medication management, risk assessments and records.
• Champion education, wellbeing and positive experiences within the home.
