Search Consultancy is recruiting a Senior Residential Childcare Worker for a children's residential home in Stalybridge (SK15). You will lead shifts, support colleagues and deliver high-quality care while promoting the children’s wellbeing and development.

The role offers a clear progression path with a welcome bonus and funded level 4/5 qualifications, along with a structured induction and ongoing supervision to support your professional growth.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in children's residential care or similar setting.
• Ability to lead shifts and provide guidance to staff.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.

Aufgaben

• Lead shifts, delegate tasks and support colleagues to deliver high-quality care.
• Build positive relationships with children based on trust, consistency and respect.
• Support daily routines including school runs, meals, activities and emotional support.
• Oversee medication administration, risk assessments and key records.
• Promote education, wellbeing, independence and life skills.
