Job summary

North Yorkshire County Council is seeking caring, proactive Support Workers to join a residential care team in Leeming Bar. You will assist vulnerable adults with daily activities, both at home and in the community, delivering person-centred support.

This permanent, full-time role offers guaranteed hours, training, and opportunities to develop through NVQ levels and ongoing supervision. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not required; full training is provided.
• Must have a full driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Support vulnerable adults in a residential care setting.
• Willing to work a range of shifts across 24 hours, 365 days.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with day-to-day activities at home and in the community.
• Assist with personal care, meal preparation, cleaning and shopping.
• Work as part of a team to provide person-centred care.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and DBS checks as required.
