Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking compassionate Residential Support Workers to assist young people in Nottingham-area homes. The role involves supporting daily routines, promoting emotional wellbeing, and helping young people develop independence in a safe, nurturing environment.

Flexible shifts include days and waking nights; long-term placements may be available for the right candidate. Driving or own transport is preferred where public transport is limited.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in a residential, care or support setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive and professional relationships with young people
• Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including waking nights
• Proactive, caring and professional approach
