Job summary

Compass Community is seeking a Bank Support Worker to join our homes, prioritising the welfare and development of children in care. You will be part of a team that supports children and young people, building trust and providing consistent, caring supervision.

We offer a thorough induction, ongoing training and progression opportunities, with a focus on safeguarding and positive relationships within a residential setting.

Qualifications

• Experience is not essential; comprehensive induction and ongoing training provided.
• Able to build positive relationships with children and young people.
• Must be able to stay calm and professional in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with children and young people in care, putting their needs first.
• Create positive relationships and ensure safeguarding at all times.
• Assist with activities, hobbies and education in the children’s lives.
• Create timetables, set boundaries and keep things organised.
