Job summary

Compass Homes is seeking Bank Support Workers to join a children’s home environment, delivering compassionate care and safeguarding for children and young people. The role welcomes those with or without previous residential experience and offers a comprehensive induction and ongoing training.

You will be part of a team that values care, relationships, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

Qualifications

• Must be 22 years of age or above.
• Must be caring and able to build positive relationships.
• Must hold a valid manual driving licence.
• Able to remain calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with children and young people in care, meeting their needs and safeguarding them.
• Meet a variety of children and young people, including those requiring higher levels of supervision.
• Assist with the care of children and young people, supporting them in activities, hobbies and education.
• Create timetables and set boundaries and expectations for the children.
