Job summary

Compass Community is seeking Bank Support Workers to help children in care. You will build positive relationships, support activities, and safeguard children while creating a stable home environment.

No prior experience is required; you will receive a comprehensive induction and ongoing training. The role offers flexible hours, £50 per sleep-in, and opportunities through our REACH Awards, with excellent supervision and development.

Qualifications

• Must be 22 years of age or above to meet Ofsted regulations.
• No prior experience required; comprehensive induction and ongoing training.
• Able to remain calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with children and young people in care, meeting their needs and safeguarding them.
• Meet a variety of children and young people with varying supervision needs and provide support.
• Assist with care of children and young people, supporting activities, hobbies and education.
• Create timetables and set boundaries and expectations for the children.
