Job summary

WestBridge is seeking compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians to support residents in a recovery-focused program. You will provide direct supervision, help participants build coping skills, and maintain a safe living environment while promoting dignity and inclusiveness.

This role requires a high school diploma, background and drug tests, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. You will engage participants in activities, document rounds, and adhere to confidentiality and regulatory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in residential counseling or behavioral health preferred.
• Ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must pass background and drug tests.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care.
• Understanding of confidentiality rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and support to participants in the residential setting.
• Document shift rounds and safety checks accurately and promptly.
• Monitor participants as they complete activities of daily living, as needed.
• Engage in active listening and support coping skill use.
• Clean and maintain participant rooms and common areas.
• Participate in team meetings and care planning.
• Take participants to recreational and wellness activities and community groups (e.g., AA).
• Promote respect, dignity, and inclusiveness within the residential community.
• Follow all regulatory guidelines and organizational policies to maintain compliance and safety.
• Other duties as assigned
