Job summary

Trident Group, a long‑standing housing and care provider in the West Midlands, is seeking a Specialist Support Worker for our Mental Health Rehabilitation and Recovery service in Shrewsbury. This role focuses on recovery‑oriented support in a 24‑hour regulated setting and involves helping adults with complex needs to live more independently.

You will assist with daily living, medication, meals, exercise and appointments while collaborating with NHS teams and families to create personal support

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with mental health needs.
• Understanding of confidentiality and record keeping.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills.
• Ability to use basic Microsoft tools.
• Flexible and reliable team member.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
• Support safe administration of medication and dietary needs.
• Help residents engage in activities, appointments and training.
• Work as part of a 24-hour care team within a regulated service.
• Coordinate with NHS staff, social workers and families to reach goals.
