Job summary

Carter Jonas is seeking an experienced Property Asset Manager to join our Asset Management team, based from either our Birmingham or Oxford office. You will manage residential assets for infrastructure clients, focusing on vacant properties, safety, compliance and lettability while delivering exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience within property management, residential asset management or lettings.
• Experience managing residential property portfolios and coordinating maintenance, compliance and contractor activity.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for site visits.
• MRICS or MARLA qualifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of residential properties for infrastructure clients, ensuring high service standards.
• Oversee vacant assets, coordinating works to bring properties to a lettable condition.
• Ensure delivery of services per KPIs, SLAs and contractual requirements.
• Support acquisition and onboarding of new properties into the portfolio.
• Work with Facilities Management to meet statutory compliance and safety.
• Coordinate repair, maintenance and improvement works with contractors, access, monitor.
• Undertake regular property inspections and maintain records.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, occupiers and stakeholders.
• Prepare accurate reports with clear portfolio updates.
• Maintain up-to-date understanding of legislation, regulation and best practice.
• Carry out site visits to inspect properties and verify works.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and standards.
