Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience managing repairs, maintenance, refurbishment and compliance across a diverse property portfolio.
• Experience preparing specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation.
• Strong understanding of building construction, defects, maintenance and asset lifecycle management.
• Experience managing contractors and consultants, including performance monitoring and financial control.
• Knowledge of damp, mould and condensation investigations and remedial works.
• Understanding Health and Safety legislation and CDM Regulations in property management.
• Ability to identify asset improvement opportunities and advise clients on priorities.
• Excellent stakeholder management with residents, occupiers, contractors and clients.
• Strong organisational and project management skills to handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate reactive repairs, planned maintenance and refurbishment projects across a complex portfolio.
• Undertake regular property condition inspections, identifying maintenance needs and defects.
• Prepare specifications, scopes of works and schedules for repairs within budgets and legislation.
• Oversee damp, mould and condensation investigations and remedial works.
• Procure, instruct and manage contractors, monitoring performance and costs.
• Ensure works comply with Health and Safety, CDM and client policies.
• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance; manage sign-off, invoices and records.
• Support lifecycle asset management and investment planning to maximise value.
