Job summary

Places for People in the United Kingdom seeks a resident engagement and housing support officer to promote safe, independent living for retirement communities in Chelmsford. You will advise on rent and service charges, assist with benefits claims, and support customers with their financial needs, while collaborating with the income recovery team to reduce rent arrears.

Experience in housing management and health & safety is preferred, with strong MS Office skills and a willingness to work as

Qualifications

• Experience/knowledge of housing management, social care and/or wellbeing of Retirement living services.
• Good computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Effective written and verbal communication; ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
• A mix of teamwork and the ability to work independently; occasional lone working.
• Awareness of Health & Safety; driving licence and own car for business use.
