Job summary

Mariposa Care Group Ltd is seeking an Activities Co-ordinator for Riverwell Beck Care Home in Blackwell, Carlisle. You will plan engaging activities for residents, helping to create meaningful daily life with a warm, supportive team.

The role offers £13.66 per hour, 36 hours per week, with DBS checks and ongoing training. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and will provide the training and support needed to thrive.

Qualifications

• Care experience is preferred, but candidates from all backgrounds are welcome and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Get to know each resident personally and build life stories to inform meaningful activities.
• Plan and deliver a varied calendar of group activities, 1:1 moments and special events.
• Motivate and encourage residents to join in activities that boost social, emotional and physical wellbeing.
• Support residents to maintain strong connections with family, friends and the local community.
• Take photos of events for newsletters and social media.
