Job summary

Porthaven Care Homes is looking for an Activities and Wellbeing Assistant to support planning, delivery and monitoring of the home's leisure and wellbeing programme. You will tailor activities to residents to promote holistic, person-centred care and engage a diverse range of residents to encourage participation.

Full training will be provided, including NAPA Level 2 and progression towards Level 3, with DBS checks and references as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• No specific care background required; full training provided including NAPA Level 2 and progression to Level 3.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, creation and delivery of leisure and wellness programmes for residents.
• Tailor activities to individual residents to promote person-centred care.
• Engage with residents to encourage participation and wellbeing.
• Weekend availability on alternate weekends is required.
