Job summary

Hartford Care in Poole is seeking an Activities Coordinator to provide stimulating and meaningful activities for our residents. You will tailor these activities to individual skills, hobbies and interests, aiming to improve quality of life while upholding residents' privacy, dignity and independence.

This is a varied, part-time role (22 hours per week) with no prior experience required as full training is provided.

Qualifications

• No previous experience is required; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide stimulating and meaningful activities for residents.
• Tailor activities to individual skills, hobbies and interests.
• Lead activities such as chair exercises and arts and crafts.
• Accompany residents to local events like country fairs.
• Create a happy, caring atmosphere while upholding privacy and dignity.
• Participate in training and development as provided.
