Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group is recruiting for a Resident Liaison Officer to work across Bristol, Bath and Frome on window and door replacement programmes. The role focuses on communicating with residents, coordinating access, and minimising disruption while maintaining strong relationships.

You will work closely with site teams, contractors and client representatives, visiting properties, explaining works, and supporting vulnerable residents.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Resident Liaison Officer or similar in social housing or refurbishment projects.
• Experience with window/door replacement or repair programmes is advantageous.
• Experience in occupied properties is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for residents throughout the replacement programme.
• Carry out resident visits and maintain regular communication before and during works.
• Explain scope and programme of works clearly to residents.
• Arrange access and appointments to progress works efficiently.
• Keep residents informed of upcoming works and changes to the programme.
• Identify and support vulnerable residents and implement appropriate measures.
• Manage resident queries, concerns and complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Liaise with site managers, supervisors, contractors and client representatives.
• Attend properties and sites to support delivery of works.
• Maintain records of resident communications, visits, appointments and feedback.
• Escalate issues to the relevant team and ensure resolution.
