Job summary

Construction Resources Limited in Leeds invites applications for a Resident Liaison Officer to support residents and site teams during a major refurbishment programme. You will be the main contact for residents, organise consultations, provide timely updates, assist vulnerable residents (including those living with dementia) and help manage expectations to minimise disruption.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer in social housing or construction.
• Experience supporting planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes (kitchens, bathrooms, painting).
• Empathetic approach for residents, including vulnerable individuals.
• Awareness of dementia-related challenges and supporting residents with additional needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive, solution-focused and calm in challenging situations.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).

Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum, depending on experience

The Opportunity

I am working on behalf of a leading national maintenance and refurbishment contractor to recruit an experienced Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to support residents and site teams throughout a planned refurbishment programme in Leeds.

This is a key role within the project, ensuring effective communication, managing expectations and providing ongoing support to residents throughout the works. A particular focus will be placed on supporting vulnerable residents and ensuring their individual needs are understood, considered and accommodated.

The successful candidate will play an important part in ensuring the smooth delivery of the programme while maintaining positive relationships with residents.

Key Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
