Care South is seeking a dedicated kitchen assistant to support the Chef and team in preparing nutritious meals for residents in a busy care home. You will help with food safety, maintain hygiene, and assist during mealtimes to ensure residents enjoy every dining experience.

In this role you will keep kitchen and dining areas clean, wash appliances, and work as part of a friendly team that values person-centred care, flexibility, and good communication.

Qualifications

• Support the Chef and kitchen team with basic meal preparation.
• Follow all food safety and health & safety regulations.
• Assist residents to enjoy their dining experience with meals.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean and hygienic.
• Wash cooking appliances and crockery and sanitise all food preparation areas.
