Job summary

Retirement Villages Group is seeking a warm Hospitality Assistant to join our village food, beverage, and hospitality team. You will help deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for residents, visitors, and customers.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong organisation, and a positive, energetic approach to delivering high-quality service and supporting revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience desirable but not essential.
• Up to 1 year of general work experience delivering to standard.
• Customer service oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food, beverage and retail services to RVG standards while keeping a clean, safe, hygienic environment.
• Welcome residents and visitors warmly and professionally, anticipating hospitality needs.
• Handle enquiries and complaints courteously, escalating when needed.
• Work with the village team to provide high-quality service and build relationships with residents.
• Contribute ideas to improve menus, services, and processes.
• Support revenue targets for food & beverages using established systems.
• Maintain and update skills, accreditations, and knowledge of best practices.
