Job summary

Flow Student in Preston is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to deliver an outstanding resident experience at our Preston site. You will be the first point of contact for students, visitors, and external stakeholders, providing a professional, friendly, and solution-focused service.

You will support administrative processes, maintain accurate records, assist with rent management, and help ensure compliance with company procedures while contributing to a positive student community.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, administration, hospitality or similar environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, approachable and empathetic when supporting residents.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good IT skills with confidence using systems, databases and MS Office.
• Experience in PBSA, student accommodation, property management or hospitality is desirable but not essential.
• Experience supporting rent, payments, arrears, or administrative processes would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for students, visitors and external stakeholders.
• Respond to resident enquiries, requests and complaints promptly; escalate when needed.
• Build positive relationships with students to improve satisfaction and community.
• Support arrivals, departures, room inspections and key processes in the site.
• Maintain accurate student records and update information in internal systems.
• Complete administrative tasks including reporting, correspondence and document management.
• Support rent collection activity; monitor accounts and arrears communications.
• Support resident engagement activities, events and community initiatives.
• Promote a safe, inclusive and positive living environment for all residents.
• Identify and elevate safeguarding, welfare, health and safety, or compliance concerns.
• Support audits, inspections and compliance checks to maintain site standards.
• Ensure all activities comply with GDPR and company policies.
