Job summary

Student Roost at John Bell House in Belfast is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to shape the day-to-day resident experience. You’ll lead a frontline team, coordinate maintenance, manage contractors and ensure safety and service excellence across our student accommodation.

This full-time, fixed-term role runs 37.5 hours per week, five days out of seven, with a competitive salary of £30,000 per year and benefits including life assurance, pension, cycle to work, and generous annual leave.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management of onsite departments and foster a culture of service excellence.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and manage contractors to keep properties safe and well‑run.
• Coach and supervise front-line staff, modelling accountability and teamwork.
